Hey! I was just wondering if anyone else can think of ways to promote the site?? I was thinking perhaps a bebo or myspace but cant really come up with any other suggestions lOlz. Could someone get bk 2 us on that cos i wud b happy 2 sort that out...

I run a Kate Beckinsale site and forum and we tried a Myspace page. We ended up with about 45 friends in a month, but we didn't publicize the page heavily within Myspace and there were around fifty different Kate Beckinsale pages on Myspace. Myspace might work better for a Gemma site since there shouldn't be so many other Gemma Myspace pages.

A popular way to promote a site is to get backlinks to it.
For example, add links in your signature in other forums, or add links on another website or blog. |

I'll go back to the Kate forum and put a link to this site in my sig, and I'll add a link in the Gemma thread I started last Fall (we have a section for various celebrities) but a Myspace page certainly couldn't hurt. If you start one, make sure to put links to this site at both the top and bottom of the page. The main thing is to give a sampling of what the site and forum have to offer, but not too much since you want people to have a reason to come here rather than just checking the Myspace page.

ohhh i love promo!
I done heaps for a boyband as my mate was in the band!
Myspace and bebo are great and u can do some sigs? And when people click on them, you get taken to the forum, like here? Also as Admin said on other sites has this as your linked website....
Erm, write to a magazine if we all pick the same one and post on here which, then write and say how fab we thought Gemma was on Soapstar (tie it in with that as its hot on the press) and each time mention the site, if enough of us do it, it works! A group of us done it and we got a poster in Heat!

Yeah wot mag shud we write to???? I really think that if we try and get in touch with gemma herself via hollyoaks, she cud prmote the site and perhaps visit it herself!!!!!

FAB idea hun!  When i wrote to Gemma she replied etc....so defo!
As for the Magazine hmm? Heat, Now, New and OK (Ya know that bit at the back of OK, my friend Mikey (Green Sarah Hardings Ex) got himself in the back of that a few months back so its easy, i have all the address and emails, want me to post em up later and we can maybe all do one a week and cover em all!? |

Yeah fanx .. I fink this site could b realli gd. However, I think a little more people cud give ah hand rather than me Larabelle, Gemma Fan and Clairey and Admin of course. No soz there are 2 others but i cant remeber the names one of them is somehtin bout a road and the other is yourfella or summit lol soz
