Boogie Woogie is a wicked satire set against the backdrop of the contemporary London art scene where lust, ambition and treachery prevail while success and failure balance precariously on a knife edge.
The film has an amazing ensemble cast featuring established stars such as Danny Huston, Stellan Skarsgård, Heather Graham and Gillian Anderson as well as hot up-and-comers like Amanda Seyfried, Jaime Winstone, Jack Huston and Gemma Atkinson.
The story centres around the acquisition of Piet Mondrian's abstract painting entitled Broadway Boogie Woogie. The film charts the intrigues of the art dealers, collectors, artists and wannabees who are all willing to use any means necessary to achieve their own personal ambitions. Each parallel story plummets towards its own depraved and egotistical conclusion until the stories collide, leading to a sobering and tragic finale.
