BIKINI babe Gemma Atkinson caused a real splash when she visited a bustling tourist beach with soap pal Roxanne Pallett.

Holidaymakers looked on in awe as two of Britain’s hottest soap sizzlers topped up their tans on one of the busiest beaches on the Spanish island of
Tenerife.

And Gemma’s cherry-covered bikini was a real eye-catcher.

An onlooker said: “I couldn’t believe it was Gemma and Roxanne.
“You don’t expect to see the most beautiful girls on British TV walking towards you when you’re lying in the sun on a cheapo holiday.

“At first I thought I was seeing things but it was really them and they looked even more gorgeous in the flesh.

“After word went round they were here everyone was looking over.

“Some people were even trying to take sneaky pictures on their phones to show their mates back home.

“But the girls just got on with it and even signed a few autographs for some fans.”

Gemma, 22, who shot to fame as Lisa Hunter on Hollyoaks and Roxanne, 24, who plays Jo Stiles in Emmerdale, enjoyed a steamy break on the hugely popular Canary Island.

And it was a strictly girls-only affair, with Roxanne leaving her fella Richard Fleeshman, 17, back home and Gemma’s boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo, 22, on duty for Manchester United.

After soaking up the Spanish sun, the pair, who also both starred in Soapstar Superstar joined the queue for a thrilling jet ski ride.

“They didn’t have any airs and graces, they just lined up like everyone else,” said one holidaymaker.

And it didn’t take Roxy and Gemma long to get to grips with a new fella as they held on tightly to a Spanish hunk who took them crashing through the waves.

“They looked like they were having a brilliant time. They were whooping and screaming with delight as they went speeding across the water,” said an onlooker.
