A host of soap stars have apparently signed up for a new series of Celebrity Masterchef.
Former Hollyoaks and Holby City star Jeremy Edwards, ex-Corrie actors Chris Bisson and Martin Hancock and Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson are among those getting ready to show off their skills in the kitchen.
Sunetra Sarker, who has racked up appearances in Brookside, Emmerdale and Holby City, is also set to appear.
The stars will face several challenges, including catering for 40 hungry army cadets in a field kitchen, preparing a two course meal for ferocious food critics, working a lunch service at a top London restaurant and cooking for Michelin-starred chefs.
Series editor Karen Ross, said: "As viewers would have seen from last year's series and from all the MasterChef programmes, this competition is really tough and the standard of cooking is inspiring.
"All participants share a passion for food, but cooking for a busy lunchtime service in top London restaurants is very different when you're on the other side of it."
Celebrity Masterchef is set to air on BBC One on May 28.

Chef and restaurateur John Torode and food writer Greg Wallace search for the country's top celebrity chef. Robbie Earle, Gemma Atkinson and Midge Ure take on two tests for a place in the quarter-final, by cooking for the judges and for paying restaurant customers at Babylon Restaurant at Roof Gardens.
