GEMMA Atkinson was seen picnicking in the park with a hunky fella, sparking fears she’s blown the whistle on her romance with Cristiano Ronaldo.

She spent two hours in the sunshine with her former Hollyoaks: In The City co-star Leon Lopez.

Onlookers said they looked “just like a pair of young lovers”.

Pin-up Leon stroked Gemma’s hair, cuddled up to her and tenderly wiped something from her eye.

Sexy Gemma, 22, delicately caressed actor-turned-singer Leon’s head.

Friends now say it could be full-time for Gemma and the Manchester United ace.

One said £100,000-a-week winger Ronaldo, also 22, would be “stunned” to see these photos of his girlfriend spending time with another man.

The Portugal ace is expected to be crowned PFA Player of the Year at a star-studded bash in London tonight – and may decide to publicly shun Gemma by leaving her at home.

A pal of the pair said: “Whatever the truth behind these pictures, Cristiano isn’t going to be happy.

“I can’t think of many blokes who would like to think of their girlfriend seemingly having such a good time with another man.”

Onlookers in the Manchester park said they were convinced Gemma and Leon were a couple.

One said: “If someone had said they were together, I wouldn’t have been at all surprised. They were just like a pair of young lovers.

“Leon brought the picnic and they sat chatting for ages before laying down together.

“They shared his iPod to listen to music together. It was all really sweet.

“And Leon looked pretty smitten with Gemma – he was being very attentive.

“She showed him a skimpy dress she’d brought with her and he seemed to approve. His eyes lit up when he saw it.

“Once they’d finished their picnic they went for a stroll through the park. They were chatting and having a right laugh together.”

The witness added: “Gemma didn’t seem to have a care in the world while she was with him. She was really enjoying his company.”

Gemma met Ronaldo at a Christmas party and they soon became serious about each other.

Sources say he was even planning to take her home to Portugal to meet his parents this summer.

Leon, 27, whose first single Love Got In The Way is out soon, has made no secret of the fact he shares a close relationship with Gemma.

Only last week he told the Daily Star Sunday: “Gemma really is a very special girl.

“We hit it off straightaway while we were working together on Hollyoaks: In The City.

“Then we did Soapstar Superstar together and supported each other through it. I’m always there for her.”

Only recently, Gemma admitted that she would dump Ronaldo if she ever found out he was “playing away”.

But the boot could be on the other foot following her cosy afternoon with Leon – and friends reckon it’s now her who could be the one being dumped.

A close friend said: “Gemma and Ronaldo don’t get to spend much time together. So they really have to trust each other.

“But one thing they both agree on is that once someone cheats, it’s over between them.

“And Ronaldo won’t take too kindly to the fact that she has been caught
spending time with another man.”

just because there havin a picnic and have fun dont mean shes havin an affair with him there just good m8s but if she is with him good on her she can do better then cristiano and her and leon would make a gd couple but who eva shes goin out with its not anythin to do with anyone else just reporters tryin to make a story out of it

Gemma and Leon have been mates for years, If you actually see the pictures in the paper they just look like what they are mates out in the park they are not kissing, not holding hands they don't even look romantic with each other but i suppose it's a story for the papers. If anybody saw the article in Loaded Gemma had a contractual agreement for them not to mention Cristiano Ronaldo, it sounds like their relationship is private to them and is no one elses business which is good and makes a change from all these celeb relationships that are plastered over the papers every other day of the week. That article was probably writen to try and get a responce from either Gemma or Cristiano glad niether of them have bitten.

do u all on this forum believe that Gem is actually going out with Cris in the first place. has anyone ACTUALLY seen pics of them together which are not put together on photoshop but the media and fans. because i know that i haven't.
