Atkinson to take part in Weakest Link

Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson is set to put her knowledge to the test when she appears on a Weakest Link celebrity Christmas special.

The 22-year-old actress, who is better known for playing Lisa Hunter in the popular soap, has agreed to appear on the show but admits that she is a bit worried about coming face to face with the show's host, Anne Robinson.

According to the Daily Star, Atkinson is concerned that Robinson will brush her off as a bimbo, especially as she never finished school because of her acting commitments.

Atkinson told Radio 1 breakfast show host Chris Moyles: "I did Hollyoaks when I was in the fifth year and I didn't have time to take a lot of exams. When I got a year's contract I just gave up completely."
